WHAT IS THE INFORMATION GOVERNANCE COMMUNITY?
The IGI Community is a place for practitioners from all facets of IG to come together and learn from each other. The IGI Community includes a public area where registered Subscribers can access select IGI resources, and a private, by-invitation-only site for IGI Community Members that is limited to working IG practitioners.
By subscribing to the IGI Community, information governance professionals gain access to tools and resources designed to help them advance their careers and capabilities. Subscribers also get access to our library of great infographics and quantitative IG research that provides powerful evidence for the management benefits of investing in information governance. Subscribing is complimentary and open to all.
The IGI will invite qualified Subscribers to become IGI Community Members. Community Members have access to to additional resources and participate in an online, collaborative information governance knowledge community. In addition to the benefits of Subscriber, IGI Community Members will also have access to Ask: a place to post and reply to questions on IG and related topics and Work: an online environment for peer collaboration in developing practical templates, models, and other information governance program tools.
IGI Community Membership is limited to working IGI practitioners who are primarily involved in doing information governance inside the organization at which they work and not for that organization’s clients or customers.
